Global Changes: Walls

Contains controls used to identify walls data for which to apply global changes. The global changes can be enabled or restricted using the available controls.



Note: The wall properties listed here are properties that were defined for the project that the selected rooms were created in or for all projects using the controls found on the Defaults Manager’s Constructions Defaults panel.

Wall type When on, the wall construction type can be changed globally for the selected rooms.
  • New data — Used to select a new wall construction type. The project's available wall types are listed. The wall construction type selected here is the wall construction type the selected rooms will be globally changed to when the Apply button is clicked.
  • Restrict changes — When on, the changes can be restricted by selecting a wall construction type to omit from the global change. The wall construction type selected here will be checked for in the selected rooms' existing room wall data. If the data check finds the same wall construction type, the room is omitted from the global change when the Apply button is clicked.
Partition type When on, the partition construction type can be changed globally for the selected rooms.
  • New data — Used to select a new partition construction type. The project's available partition construction types are listed. The partition construction type selected here is the partition construction type the selected rooms will be globally changed to when the Apply button is clicked.
  • Restrict changes — When on, the changes can be restricted by selecting a partition construction type to omit from the global change. The partition construction type selected here will be checked for in the selected rooms' existing room wall data. If the data check finds the same partition construction type, the room is omitted from the global change when the Apply button is clicked.
Fin type When on, the fin construction type can be changed globally for the selected rooms.
  • New data — Used to select a new fin construction type. The project's available fin construction types are listed. The fin construction type selected here is the fin construction type the selected rooms will be globally changed to when the Apply button is clicked.
  • Restrict changes — When on, the changes can be restricted by selecting a fin construction type to omit from the global change. The fin construction type selected here will be checked for in the selected rooms' existing room wall data. If the data check finds the same fin construction type, the room is omitted from the global change when the Apply button is clicked.
